We have three very special part-time team members, Keiko, Zaza and Shorty, which are just too gorgeous not to get a spot in the limelight.

Keiko is Jeremy’s dog (fashion & beauty photographer), Zaza is the dog of LJ (creative retoucher) and Shortie is the dog of Lynn (photo assistant).  Our 3 little friends don’t come to the studio on a daily basis, but occasionally pay us a visit (if they would show up every day, our productivity would come to a halt)!

Those shots were taken by photographer Jeremy himself, and he just used a simple background in our photo studio, and Shorty’s shot was taken outside.

He took the shots with his new Hasselblad H4D, currently probably the most advanced and high-end camera on the market.

Thanks to all our 200+ guests who made it to our 5 Year Anniversary Party on 9. September 2009, it was a wonderful and unforgettable evening.  Our entire studio was transformed into a party space for this event, with video installations, DJ, an interactive photocall, fruit juice corner, lounge areas with chill-out videos, many drinks, great food and the most beautiful people in Shanghai.

We all just experienced for the first ever a total sun eclipse in Shanghai. On 22 July 2009 at 9.35am, the moon was entirely blocking the sun. Unfortunately, we had a very cloudy rainy day, but nevertheless it was amazing to experience this natural phenomenon.

We did an on-location photo shoot for Philips. Task was to create the cover shot for a new product brochure. The challenge was to shoot a regular office room and transform it into a high-end and modern-looking office environment. The retouching tasks included: lowering the ceiling, extendind the real (!) grass which was put in the office, enhancing the effect of the lamps, replacing the background with several stock images and last but not least make the model look as stunning as possible.

In 2008 April, we organized a catalogue production for Argington (www.argington.com), an American manufacturer of modern children furniture. The 5-day shooting involved models, set-design, prop stylists, models, make-up artists and location scouting. We conceptualized an idea for a new catalogue and organized the entire production including:

- Producer (=Account Manager)
- Art Director
- Table-top Stylists
- Set Builders
- Photographer
- Retouchers
- Print Managers
- Location Scouts
- Models
- Hair & Make-Up Artists

Since all creative pros work under the same roof, it was easy for the team to meet regularly to discuss and follow-up on the project. A beautiful villa was found in an premium exclusive compound in Shanghai. The set-designers and builders went to work, and after the set designers and builders painted the walls, a beautiful wooden floor was put in the rooms. In total, 7 shooting locations were created, making it possible for the team to work on one a set, while the other was shooting on the other one. After the photography, all images were retouched (cleaned- up, clipped, optimized) and stored in Rimagine’s internal image database.
